From debugging Windows CE to founding the CNCF SIG Observability

At this month’s Linkerd community meeting we were joined by Matt Young from EverQuote. Matt shared his journey from debugging Windows CE to joining EverQuote and his first experience with EC2 and Kubernetes. Tasked with building out a complete observability stack to support the growth of internal services, Matt noticed the growth in open source observability, particularly driven by projects such as Cortex and Linkerd. Observability being such an important topic to him, Matt wanted to ensure the CNCF gave observability the attention it deserves and went on to found SIG Observability.
