In our introduction to Argo CD, Gateway API, and Linkerd, we showed a demo of basic GitOps using Argo CD and Linkerd, but that was just a demo. In this second session in our Argo and Linkerd series, we’ll do a hands-on deep dive into a real-world setup that uses GitOps top to bottom. We’ll use Vault and cert-manager to handle secrets, Linkerd for communications and routing, and Emissary-ingress at the edge of the cluster — with Argo CD managing everything in our cluster-based solely on configuration in Git.
