The wait is over! Users asked for it, and IPv6 support in Linkerd is finally here. Almost everything on the Internet today was originally designed for a world using networking rooting in version 4 of the Internet Protocol (IPv4) — even though we ran out of IPv4 addresses years ago! IPv6 deals with this situation by providing for dramatically more addresses, simpler autoconfiguration, better security, and easier access to global routing.
