SAN FRANCISCO – Buoyant, creator of Linkerd, which provides critical security, reliability, and observability features to Kubernetes applications, announced today a new integration with Datadog, Inc. (NASDAQ: DDOG), the monitoring and security platform for cloud applications. The integration is now available in the Datadog Marketplace.
Buoyant's open source Linkerd service mesh powers the production infrastructure of organizations around the world, including Microsoft, Walmart, Plaid, and many more. Buoyant Cloud, which is part of Buoyant's enterprise offering for Linkerd, provides a single pane of glass dashboard for service mesh operators as well as powerful alerting and monitoring capabilities.
Datadog consolidates metrics, traces, logs and more to help organizations scale their cloud and hybrid environments, troubleshoot potential issues and provide customers with excellent digital experiences. The Datadog Marketplace connects Datadog customers with unique technology integrations that allow for more customization and flexibility.
Building this Datadog offering differentiates Buoyant as a Datadog Partner Network (DPN) member that has demonstrated success integrating with Datadog’s products, helping Datadog customers evaluate and use their technology productively, at scale and varying levels of complexity.
